as long as you are eating healthy & making sure you eat plenty (don't over do it of course, and it doesn't sound like you are - it's just some people use the excuse that since they're eating for two, that it's okay to overendulge, and it's not.), it is okay to lose weight. all women's bodies are different, and i have known some to lose lbs at first, instead of gain them.

You should be gaining or at least staying the same at this point. Usually a couple pounds gained a month is considered healthy weight gain. Sometimes there may be months no gain is achieved, but if you are losing, u need to stop doing what ur doing to make yourself lose weight. Consult with your doctor and ask him if he will give u the go ahead to resume your exercise routine. He may be ok with it. But, for now, I would stop until i consulted with him first.
Good luck hun and congrats!

Some people lose weight because your metabolism speeds up during pregnancy. You are supposed to eat EXTRA calories and at this point should be gaining about a pound a week. Good luck.

It's normal to loose some weight in the first trimester but you should be putting weight on now that you're in the second trimester. Ask your doctor what to do.

I lost weight until I was about 28 weeks with my first child. Then I started gaining. Every pregnancy is different.

As long as you're not TRYING to lose by diet/exercise, weight loss CAN be healthy/normal (esp. if you were overweight or had morning sickness).
YOur doctor will weigh you at every appt, so if you continue to not gain or just lose, he/she will talk to you about changing your diet.
