Cremation, a big party for my friends, and an overly elaborate monument at the family cemetary, something that will shock and awe all the small-town country folk that visit that particular obscure & forgotten boneyard..

Depends on the manner in which I died.. as for my mother she claimed up and down she wanted closed casket...because she swore she would look terrible ( she had pancreatic cancer) and was jaundiced.. but after she passed that all went away and I decided myself on open casket.. she looked quite peaceful...but as far as it goes for me..as I said depends on the manner in which I passed..

open, closed, cremated - I'm not too concerned.
the only request I have, is that I be brought in fifteen minutes after the funeral has started.
(I've been late for everything my entire life, why should my funeral be any different? LOL)

Open for all and then cremation.
As for ME, I would say no funeral, no vis, no nothing, but one must remember the survivers left behind. What is best for them? What do they need? So I say do the open thing for all and then cremation.

I'm hoping for a wake. Lots of open bottles, and if they want to pry the lid up that's their business. I intend to be in the midst of my longest nap.
