I have not seen your other question, but you should not feel bad. You had no way of knowing what was going to happen today. The fact that you needed to send out another email shows that you think of others and are not selfish.
If I see your other question, I may respond and it won't be an ugly or negative response.
Peace Be With You!

I wouldn't beat yourself up over saying you had a bad day...you have a right to feel that way you do. I know that what happened at V Tech was terrible but to limit yourself to what you can feel is not right. You should feel free to express your anger or disappointment from your day. I'm sure a lot of other people had a worse day than you but that does not invalidate what you feel. Hope this helps! Keep your chin up and hope your day gets better!

You have to gain control of your emotions. Remember the happier and more content you are while your pregnant the better for your baby. Every time you start to feel stressed just breath and try and clear your mind. Stressing isn't worth the effects it could have on your baby. And i'm not talking only physical. They say baby's who's mothers were calm and peaceful throughout their pregnancy are more calm when they are born. Baby's who's mothers were frazzled during pregnancy were frazzledeled when they were born. Just really try. It's like anything. The more you practice the better you'll be.

Don't feel alone. I was in California during the last big earthquake in San Francisco. I was in Fresno and felt the quake. (The epicenter was directly between Fresno and San Fran. in Hollister). We got some tremors, but nothing major and I thought it was the coolest thing, EVER!
UNTIL...I found out about the devastation up north. Then I felt like a total jerk. People I went to college with, knew people who were crushed on the bridge. It was awful.

No don't feel bad at all about thinking your day was important before you heard. You need to take care of yourself too. If everyone took good care of themselves and their loved ones the world would be a better place. Go out tomorrow and do something nice for someone. Just because.

Well, you realized that it put life into perspective. What are you worried about? You didn't do anything wrong. You had a normal reaction; you had a bad day, found out about something terrible that happened to other people, and felt like you have it pretty damn good in comparison.

I know! My heart goes out to all those families, friends, and all who loved those students and faculty who died. This is a huge and awful tragedy and is very saddening to think that there are people evil enough to do something like that. Very good point though. We complain about everything and here, are these poor kids who were mercilessly killed by an awful person. We definitely should live everyday to it's fullest, and appreciate everything in our life.
