it could use free energy such as solar panels, and yes multi filters.. it doesnt have to be much bigger than a power plant or two football fields if some cases

Sorry?

You are serious?

The issue here is the millions of cars and power plants that are releasing carbon dioxide. To trap that, in is extremely dilluted form (less than 0.06%) would take more than "a few filters".

Unfortunately there are not just a few locations and besides CO2 is essential to the life of the planet - remember, all green plants and trees eat CO2 and expel O2 which we need to live. This is really not so much of a problem for an inventor as it is for scientists and politicians. So maybe that will give you a hint as to which way you want to go in life.

No but you know what would work? If we all jumped into our jumbo private jet, then into our stretch limo. Then roll down the windows with the AC on max as we travel 200 yards to get AL Gores DVD so we could watch it in our house that has a 3k light bill. Now that would be an offset.

The greenhouse GASES, like carbon dioxide and methane, are a much bigger problem than particulates, which actually BLOCK sunlight and keep the Earth cooler (on the order of 0.001 degrees or something, though).

that would maybe help because the machine itself must let out some pollution for taking in that pollution. however, many people thought of ideas like putting giant floating mirriors that would reflect the sunshine back into space. that would work but it takes too much work!!

Probably not since the sun has increased its energy output by .2% in 40 years and Mars and Pluto are also heating up
