Is it because the only reason why u dont take drugs is because it's illegal?
Did the war on drugs help you not to take drugs?

No, I do not partake in any drugs legal or not. I think the war on drugs is largely a failure at stopping the presence of drugs on the streets. It is a matter of economics, if it costs a dollar to produce and you receive a hundred or even a thousand dollars, you will never stop that kind of flow.

I might have tried it and seen some addiction. A large part of the population has an addictive personality. If you take a temptation away then you will have awhole lot fewer people addicted to that habit. It just makes sense. Drugs are already causing many people to go unemployed, steal, neglect their children and so on. If you stop the war on drugs you will open up many more to the possiblilty of becoming addicted.

even if drugs were legal I would not do drugs. Personally I would never do it, but I know some people that have and they totally screwed up their lives, it is such a waste of time, and causes a lot of stress for co workers, family members. it's just bad

If you go to any bar across the whole land, you will find someone with Cocaine.
Cocaine is around as if it was legal. The same can be said of Pot, Heroin, Ketamine, Amphetamine & Esctacy.
If you wish to be an idiot and take them then thats up to you.

No. Drugs give off artificial happiness and take away reality. When they wear off a person just has to wake up again and endure even more pain. Why would I put myself through that?

If you were the slightest bit informed of the addictive properties of crack and heroin and the misery and lawlessness that the addiction brings, you would not ask such an inane question. I have never taken an illegal drug in my life, nor is it my intent to do so.
