I heard these two guys that were in the college championship game are projected to go in the 2nd and maybe even the 3rd round. Chris Leak should be in the 1st round he won a championship. And so should Troy Smith he was the heisman trophy winner.

Troy Smith is actually projected in the 4th round and Chris Leak in the late 5th. Idk why they are projected so late, it just doesn't make sense to me.

Heisman Trophy doesn't mean anything when it comes to the NFL. Jason White won the Heisman Trophy (almost won it a 2nd time) and he wasn't even drafted. Neither of those two have the skills that make them a guy that can come in and play right away for an NFL team. Thats not saying that they couldn't be good NFL QBs, but guys that are going to go in te 1st round are guys that could step in and run the offense right away.

Yeah I think Troy Smith is going to be pretty good with the ravens next season. As for Brady Quinn I am not so sure because right now Derek Anderson is starting. I'm not sure about Chris Leak, I was not too impressed when he played for Florida.

ill tell you why troy smith isnt projected to go early, hes not a fundamental quarterback, we're starting to see too many guys try and be like Mike Vick and it wont happen, they don't realize that Vick can actually break down defenses while hes running around back there, Troy Smith is garbage. Chris Leak is underrated and whatever team drafts him will be getting a steal, he had one of the most accurate throwing arms in college football last year, look for him to do big things.

Well first off the only reason they are projected so low is because of their height mainly Chris Leaks height at 5"11
bu Troy Smith because of a horrible combine workout and the extra weight he put on and they are projected at 3rd or lower not 2nd

Then there was Jason White who went to 2 championships, won a Heisman and was a finalist for another and he didnt get drafted. Good college QBs dont always translate into good NFL QBs

thank you very much! i agree...with both...although i am a troy smith fan and i think he is just getting dissed to no end...he freakin won the heisman and he isnt in even the first round....its just wrong!

i think both would be good solid nfl qb's but both are considered to short to be a qb in the nfl thats why they will go in the later rounds,and to yaya above me who won that game i belive the gators 41-14 so cry me a river

Neither of these guys has what it takes to be a pro. I think it will be more like the 5th round.
