'm writing a 15-20 pg research paper and I want to show some statistics of immigrants in the United States such as

- % of immigrants occupying the American workforce
- What percent of them are professionals, salesmen, etc
- Illegal immigration statistics

Pretty much the economic dependency on the immigrants by the US....where can I find academic journals?

So I'm writing an APA style research paper so that means I'm not supposed to show my opinion but then what would the thesis be???

"This paper discusses the economic advantages and disadvantages of immigrants on the US economy" orrrr

"This paper concludes that the presence of immigrants in the US is vital to its economy"????

For the thesis, I would say: "Even though immigrants came to America for a better life, they also have economic advantages and disadvantages that affect the United States because they occupy the workforce, some are unofficial citizens, and have a low percent success rate."
