1 gallon = 8 pints...
so 1/2 gallon = 4 pints...
so 1.64/4 = 41 cents.
the one above is wrong since they are assuming 1 gallon=1.64$ instead of a half gallon=1.64.

a million. 0.5 a gallon is two quarts, a million quart is two pints, so 0.5 a gallon is 4 pints. So $a million.24/4 = $0.31/pint 2. (fifty two.3 + fifty six.3 + x )/3 = fifty 4.0 fifty two.3 + fifty six.3 + x = 162.0 x + 108.6 = 162 x = 162 - 108.6 x = fifty 3.4 Luzia ran the 0.33 4 hundred m race in fifty 3.4 seconds (extraordinarily good!) 3. 2.5 + 2.5 = 5 miles 5 miles/60 minutes = 5 miles/a million hour = 5 miles in keeping with hour = 5 mph

It all depends on what the store charges .The less you buy the more it costs .It doesn`t go by dividing the number of pints into one half gallon. Is this a riddle ????
