I agree with the first answer. I think that DC has some of the strictest gun control laws, and DC has a ton of firearm related violence.
And I do not think that the country that produced Rory Emerald could possibly be the worst country ever.
Rory Emerald - always Rory Emerald!
Excellent Question!!

Access to guns is irrelevant.
Man has killed Man since the beginning of time. It will never change.

Why take away the guns from those who are honest? We're the ones who take the time to get licensed to have them, carry them, and perhaps even use them if we're threatened.
Check out the stats. It's not those people who are committing these hideous crimes... Killing people, robbing, etc.
ANYONE can purchase a weapon if they wish to do so. By making it a crime not to have the right to bear arms, we're just increasing the demand for more underhanded black market thugs.

well, if gun access were to be restricted, that would help stop killings to a certain extent, but i dont think thats the only answer to stop killings. The most important thing is for people to be educated on moral values and the implications that taking another persons life can have on society and on their own soul.

Well no they would find a diffrent way to do it.
But yes it would work a bit if you took the gunz away.
but still the could always use knives, butter knives, pencils, forks, scissors etc...
There was also an accident in the school of america not long ago.
33 people died. :(

i truly believe that if guns were not as accesible as they are in the states what happend at virginia tech could have been avoided....i myself live in canada and we have quite strict gun control policies and you can easily see the difference it makes compared to the US. It must start at controlling the supply of guns and whos allowed to purchase them. People in the US have to get over the fact that they believe it is there God given right to carry a gun and realize what year it is. This isnt the wild west anymore.

I think regardless of the country or access to weapons, we'd still find ways to kill each other.

Chris Rock said each bullet should cost $5000. people would think twice before 'blowing' that kind of cash.
