the cry of intolerance is, in and of itself, intolerant!
A christian's belief that certain things are wrong is a matter of conscience, but the Liberal view (usually democrats) that conservatives ACCEPT things that are against thier viewpoint is not being tolerant of the conservative's views and values.
They seem to want to take the option for dissent out of the process.
It surprises me that people do not see down the road nor do the see the big picture. Liberalism ALWAYS, but ALWAYS leads to ruin. the
don't ask- don't tell mentality is short lived and changes into
tell-don't complain which in turn becomes
accept-or-be-ostricised!
NONE of these positions is tolerant!
Don't you think that the champions of tolerance should put their money where their mouth is and shut up and tolerate those who differ in views and values?

To put it plainly, is not crying intolerant the same as trying to force another to change his/her beliefs/values/views?

I NEVER said that I am tolerant. I never said that tolerance is needed. I just am pointing out that the lib's use of the term tolerance is not tolerant, but a subjugating, cajoling term tthat is designed to cow the opposition. In fact ALL Politically Speech is that way, by design!

Many things in life are not tolerant:
1. Math 2+2 is 4 and math is not tolerant of any other answer
2. Religion nothing can be more intolerant, and it MUST be so or else it is not real. to believe in everything is to believe in nothing!
3. Heat. it is not tolerant of cold it must either overcome it or be overcome.
4. gravity. try to commit suicide by jumping up from the ground to the top of a building, you cannot. it is a law and it is totally intolerant!
5. liberals they cannot stand when anyone stands on the rights given to them by the U.S. Constitution
Freedom of speech? not during an election when a dem could lose! not against abortion (gotta have a opposition free zone surrounding clinics)
not on 2nd amendment issues (write books that do not just twist history, but actually invent quotes and views of historical persons that are actually provable to be false!)
Freedom of religion? not if you are against homosexuality, abortion, or anything that is a 'traditional v

These people "feel" they are chosen, to moralize, that they know better than we what is right or wrong, they wants us to be free, to be moral and good, of course it is purely based on their definition of free, moral and good.
What has been lost in the discussion is the fallacy of collectivism and the juxtaposition of free versus the good of the whole. A better question could be how do people lose their moral compass, how can they feel that the end justifies the means, that taking from one to help others is right, it is a tale of hypocrisy.
Taken in light of "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the—if he—if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not—that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement", if you can parse the english language like that and people think it is okay, well folks the compass is broken.

Wait a minute. Your logic is circular. You say Dems want tolerance but Repubs don't. If Dems insist on that makes them intolerant? Dude, you are Bush's wet dream.
You're totally wrong but I'll tolerate your existence.

How has liberalism led to ruining a nation which already embraces it?
You just want to whine and complain that people aren't EXERCISING your Christian "conservative" views--which have been outdated since the start of the last century.

LOL . . liberal tolerance . . . put on an "I love George W. Bush" T-shirt, march through Berkley California (Left Wing Loon Headquarters), and tell me what happens to you. Lefties are the worst hate-spewing intolerant bigots out there. What a joke!

Be intolerant all you want - but don't get in my way with it. You're welcome to think or say what you want, but if it interferes with my life, that's different. Got it?
