Atarting with n=1 or n=0 is usual, but since you know you have 10 terms and you use 10 as the end you must use 1 as the beginning:

10

n=1

The numerators are powers of 2 with 2=2^1, giving you 2^n. The denominators are a problem, though. You can't express the sequence with a simple expression in terms of n. The only way to keep the formula simple seems to be to leave the first 2 terms out of the summation:

10
[∑ (2^n)/(3n + 1)] + 2/8 + 4/11
3

In statistical technique administration it refers to "conventional deviation." in spite of the undeniable fact that, SPC shoppers with indepth SPC awareness understand that sigma and classic deviation are no longer precisely the same. to verify authentic sigma, shoppers could additionally use a persevering with table, which has numbers in keeping with subgroup sampling quantity. conventional deviation makes use of the same formulation, yet with out the subgroup sampling quantity consistent fee. From ASK.COM: Sigma is utilized in records to point "conventional deviation". this would be a level of the unfold or version in a determination of numbers. as an occasion if the 30 pupils on your type write a attempt and each physique gets between 70 and 80 then the common deviation of the 30 rankings could be extremely small. If, in spite of the undeniable fact that, the 30 rankings variety style the forties to the ninety's then the common deviation could be extra effective.

The numerator doubles each time.

the denominator increases by 3 then 2 then 3 then 3...
