Hugo isn't the only other Country criticizing America, he is focused in on Bush though, not at America as a whole.

How come ignorant people keep calling the U.S.A. a democracy?
It is a republic. The citizens use democratic elections to select their representatives.
The difference is significant.

Should I be upset by Chavez for criticizing something he obviously doesn't even understand?
NO WAY! I just feel sorry for his own citizens who have to live under the rule of a leader who criticizes what he doesn't understand.
They would be better off if their government were dictated by someone with a brain!

Chavez is alright if you don't mind the government being able to confiscate at any time without reason, your property. If you resist you will be shot. Fair and square as those 4 *** wipe pro socialist organizations see it, means Saddam was also elected fairly. Please, where is your power of reasoning? Communism and socialism are both out dated failed systems that the world has thrown over continually. Speaking of which, if you watch world news Chavez is soon to be thrown out of power.

I think I do like it. If he gets a response from the people of Venezuela and the other nations of the latin 3rd world, we know how we are perceived. It is the kind of feedback needed at times to improve relations, change policy or prepare for armed conflict. Communication of any type whether the bellicosity of Chavez or the weird insanity of Kim Jong Il is better than silence. I would hope that the Russians can appreciate the ramblings of our own leadership,

I love it anytime someone anywhere in the world stands up against evil, hypocrisy, and lies. The empire must be fought wherever it arises. There is only one nation that exports terrorism to every populated continent in the world and that is the U.S. : one need look no further than all the death squads it supports and trains in Central and South America to keep dictators in power...and to keep fruit prices down at the local grocery store. How many peasants have to die just so Americans can stuff their fat, lying faces with another banana?

Hugo Chavez doesn't criticize American democracy- he is only rooting for it from the far left (he supported Bill Clinton).
The democrats would rather see Hugo Chavez as president than Bush. Talk about trash for gold.

Chavez criticizes American foreign policy, and Bush in particular.

I agree with his opinions, and appreciate his efforts to help the poor in this country.

He has given gas and heating oil away for next to nothing, and offered Doctors for us during Katrina. (Which the administration refused)

If that's hating America, we need more hatred!

That's one reason I buy my gas from Citgo!

I've only heard him criticize Bush, not
U.S. democracy itself. As for critcizing
Russia, no I don't like it when Bush does
that. There are enough problems here
to pay attention too. And btw, Russia
knows how to have a revolution, they
can handle their own problems.
Not so sure about us right now.
