No, mistakes are there because you didn't know something going into the situation. We learn from mistakes, but mistakes can be avoided if we educate ourselves, and prepare before we venture into something.
Its like taking a test. either you know the material or you don't. You don't walk away from a failed math test saying- "wow, I really learned something from failing that math test"
No- you learned that you didn't know the material.
of course we will make mistakes, and I would hope that people would learn from their mistakes- but the mistakes happen because you didn't know not so that you would know next time.

It starts when a baby closes a drawer on his fingers. Yes, mistakes are learning experiences if we are open to the knowledge. Paraphrasing somebody clever, they said that the definition of insanity was expecting a different outcome with the repetition of the same action.
The trick is to forgive yourself, shake it off, make amends as needed, and move on.

Definitely, it's God's little consequences for when you break the rules. What happens when you make the mistake shows you that a different method will get you a different(and hopefully better) result. God Bless!

Yes because they teach you that you should try something different. Great inventors, like Thomas Edison, made many mistakes, but they learned from them and they made many things we use today.

No. Mistakes are there because you screwed up. If you can learn from them, all the better.

Absolutely,
The definition of Experience?
Knowledge that you needed and could have used 5 minutes ago.
Although it didn't help the first time around that knowledge will be there for you if you encounter a similar type of a problem.

I think so, if you're only willing to listen and learn. It's really hard getting through to some of us.
I really liked the definition of experience.
