it's crazy, they say that that kind of random violence cant really be controlled because it's mass violence and it was a lot of open areas and space, a lot of entrances but you would think that the police would learn what to do in situations like this or atleast make some kind of preventive measures from past incidents like this ( columbine, other campus shootings) the ppl that cause all this craziness have some serious issues, i think that it had to be a student or someone on the campus that was the shooter because it really doesnt make sense that some other person would just pick a campus to start shooting for no reason i mean why a campus why not anyhwere else, why anywhere for matter. i didnt know anyone, but it still very sad. It's Craziness

Shooter killed some in one building and campus police thought it was an isolated case and thought he left campus.
They sent out an e-mail to students about this AS 20 more people were being killed in another hall. 33 in all including gunman who shot himself beyond recognition. No ID. All news said was he was of Asian decent.
Also highways leading to campus are jammed with parent trying to get to their kids.

Very sad. They say he may have started by shooting his girlfriend. Then two hours later walked into a building. Going from classroom to classroom shooting people. He then killed himself. I wish he had just ended his life and not took 32 people with him.

How the hell do you think people feel about the shooting in Virginia, People are already saying they blame the police, what the hell is wrong with people today. It was tragic, cowardly and morally wrong, It was the " SHOOTERS" fault no one Else's!!!!!!! He was a coward, and if he wanted to end his life(which he was just wasting everyone Else's precious air) that is fine, i would of giving him the resources to do it with, but to take many innocent lives with him was "COWARDLY"

Kind of makes the Imus comments harmless babble...I myself said on here that there are worse things in the world than an insensitive comment...and this is a prime example...Needless comments which offend vs. Needless violence which kills...

Sad, especially as a mother. You think you are sending your children off to college ( a place that should be safe). It has shattered my sense of safety.

Another IDIOT w/ a gun!!!
Its so sad to know you cant be safe anywhere you go these days. I am a recent father, and it just makes me wonder, if when my son is of age to go to school, should I just get him home schooled to keep him safe?
It is sick! Why do people always solve their problems w/ violence???
