No. Wrong Division, Wrong League... There are to many teams better than them they would have to pass.

They could be contenders if they can hold off Boston and New York for the rest of the season. Right now they are only half a game behind Boston and a game in front of the Yankees. They are a good team, especially with the addition of Frank Thomas. They do have a chance, but it will be tough for them to hold off the Red Sox and Yankees.

The Blue jays have potential. Though they ar in a difficult division, they may find a way to stay in the race. With the Yankee pitching staff struggling, the Jays may be able to pass them and contend for a wild card.

They have a solid core with Wells, Rios, and Glaus. Halladay is always good.
Right now they have alot of injuries and could get off to a slow start. Its not looking good when they are chasing the Red Sox and Yankees.
Maybe next year unless they make some big moves.

Yes the Blue Jays are contenders.Although I don't think they will make it to the playoffs they are better then people give them credit for.They finished in 2nd place last year,people tend to forget that.I expect the Blue Jays to finish in 2nd again and fall just short of the wild card,losing it to Cleveland.

They would be a lock for the playoffs in the NL. Too bad for them that NY and Bos are in ther division And Det Chi Cle and Min all have a better chance at the wildcard
