i don't know if i will or not. but, i'm thinking i'm joining in my late 17's or early 18 (age.) i was wondering whats the chances of me getting accepted? i'm going to submit my photos online too. so, would that slim my chances?

and are there any famous modeling agencies out there?
let me know!

You're sort of in the right age group but in honesty, unless you're an absolute stunner, they'll probably tell you to get some amatuer expirience and come back in 6-12 months.

So to be accepted into Elite as your first representation you either need to be claudia schiffer or have a very very very good photographer.

I would advise aiming lower, start with a different agency and get some actual expirience, some print/television work that shows your presence.

Don't submit your photos online, call the agency and express your interest; they'll ask you to come along to one of their open days.

HTH!

Your age is fine but I suggest going in person so they can tell you on the spot yes or no..Elite usually has open calls on thursdays and fridays at a certain time. Doing it online only has you wondering if they got it or not, if they like it, why they didn't call yet, and things like that. I hope your 5'9 or taller! Good Luck!

Statistics show that reputable modeling agencies like Elite accept less than 1% of their applicants.Good luck!

u have an ideal age to start out, now it depends on how tall u are, and what body shape u've got, if u have ideal body structure, try out, they normally take girls 5'8" or above,
dont send pictures online, go to open calls, or the model contests{like elite, look of the year, or ford supermodel contests}
u dont need to take professional pictures, few snapshots r ok,
donot worry if u get rejected, keep trying, remember in modelling, rejection is not failure.
lastly, good luck and be careful, u're young, and there r lots of fake scams!
