Ok I had asked a question earlier about my mom being sick and I have copied it below however the answers I am getting are not helping. I have had suggestions to have her stay hydrated but the issue is is she is not keeping anything down, so water, pedelyte, broth is not working because within 10 minutes of drinking it she gets sick. The only time she keeps liquid down is first thing in the morning and she may not keep it down then orignal ? below...
First Question - My mom has not been able to hold any food down for eight days and she has only kept one meal down in the last eleven days. We spent several hours at an emergency clinic on Saturday they gave her fluids via IV and anti nausea meds that she vomited a short time later. Today she went to the doctor and he gave her meds that she can't take because she vomits shortly after taking them and he won't do any tests because she is on Medicare and that don't cover crap. So I guess the question is what else can we do?!?

The problem here from what I can see is her primary care dr and I recommend that she finds another one. In the mean time she needs to go back to the ER (will need to try a different facility possibly).

In the mean time when it comes to liquids try having her take smaller sips of sodas like ginger ale and 7 Up. Also, try getting some fresh ginger to make a tea with. Ginger is good for helping to settle the GI (gastrointestinal) tract.

But she needs to find another primary care physician.

I would suggest she go the er alot of times they will do tests i know that maybe medicare will not pay for the tests in general but in an emergency situation they should pay-becasue if she is not keeping anything down at all they need to do something

I would take her back to the hospital or find another dr who will check her out completely and get to the bottom of her problem. I would also suggest you go in the room with her when she is being checked out. They can for one give her a suppository that will help with the nausea.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, my daughter ended up with a foul malicious program- The pediatrician advised me to offer her pedialyte, and that i attempted, i actually did. She does no longer have it, so I saved nursing. She could no longer keep alot of it down, yet a minimum of i grow to be sharing my antibodies and giving her convenience. heavily, i attempted each feeding technique i might desire to- bottle, sippy, even a syringe, and that i could no longer even get her to take an oz. of the pedialyte, went against dr's orders and have been given some liquid in her. BTW, i finished up with the comparable virus and stayed contained in the well-being midsection 2 days with dehydration, and had to pump for her for the duration of that factor- she did take the milk, and he or she grow to be positive.

My first thought was it could be food poisoning but I would think it would be easing up or over with. Take her back to the ER and make them find what's wrong and don't leave until they do.
