Us old farts are mainly confused by all this senseless death, but we can feel for the families of the students kills, and also for those who survived. Their dreams will never be the same and their outlook on life will be forever darkened. . .

Oy. Judaism is a faith. Zionism is the concept that G-d gave the land of Israel to the Jews. There are Jews who're no longer Zionists and Zionists who're no longer Jews. Israel as a us of a did not exist from the autumn of the Temple to 1948. Jews lived scattered contained in the diaspora (in the course of the global). If Israel did not exist as a us of a on the instantaneous, lets stay scattered contained in the diaspora as we were and many nevertheless are. Zionism replaced right into a concept lengthy before present day day Israel grew to develop right into a us of a in 1948.

Fran, I do not think of you as a Canadian Neighbor but a sister. It was horrible what happened and saddened me terribly yesterday....was home working on taxes...I don't know why people do what they do...took me back to the tower shootings in the 60's. I wish people would stop putting blame on the school...this happened...people are gone..they shall be missed terribly by their families. You are so sweet to put this on YA...My answer to the "what in the world is going on" ..People need to learn to appreciate what they have and the short time you may have it...You may never get another chance to say I love you than the last one you just said.. Hugs to you Fran...Alda

We prayed for them in church this evening. God always has a hand in in the healing of tragedies like this. All we can do is trust that His is the greater plan...and that he is watching over the ones who were hurt.

Yeah, that one was a little close for comfort, for me. I'm only 2 hours away. I might keep the kids home tommorrow.
