this is not a good idea!!! trust me!!! i luv piercings (i have 14), but i would never, under any circumstances, try doing a piercing myself, or let anyone do it who is not a qualified professional!!! u risk a mis-placed piercing, injury to yourself, infection!!! go to a reputable piercer!!!

you dont. you pay $40 for a professional to do it.. If you are cheap enough to not pay $40 then you will get an infection and a dirty scar on your belly button... Trust me you will end up wishing you paid the money for the piercing.. it is not expensive.. some places even charge $20 if you bring the ring..

There are all kinds of dangers involved in piercing any body part by yourself. You risk infection, scarring, etc. I recommend going to have it done at a reputable piercing parlor. Not only are their tools clean and they know what they are doing, but they can also instruct you on after care, which is VERY important to prevent infection. It's very cheap to get it done. *I believe around 25 bucks or so.* Well worth the price :)

you dont. that is, unless you want an infection. it is quite possibly the stupidest idea ever. you can spare the $12 and get a proffessional to do it. it will save you pain and possibly hospital time.

ummm.... DONT. go get it done... if you must do it yourself please at least do this.... get a 14kt gold belly button ring to start- this will prevent it from getting infected. and buy a cleaning solution for piercings... clean it a lot!!!!

also-use a hollow needle if you can find one because this is the kind they use if you get it done...
