Our neighbors have recently aquired a rooster. I live in the country and there is a good span between homes, but this rooster is wandering close to my house and crowing at all hours. What should I do?

take it to a shelter and say it was lost but don't tell your neighbors or let them see you. You can also go to their house and tell them to keep their rooster in their home or you won't be responsible for what happens

Other than doing the KFC thing, there's not much you are going to do about it. That Rooster is going to crow whether it is on your Doorstep or your Neighbors. You and I both know that a Rooster's Crow will travel quite a ways too.

OOOOOO DAS A HARD ONE ZINNIEGIRL! My mom lives in the 'country' and when we go visit, her rooster starts crowing at 3 am! We wanted to keel it, but GUESS WHAT! It's head got stuck in one of those wire feeders and the HENS PECKED HIS HEAD OFF! YIKES! And my MOM CRIED! DANG IT! She loved that rooster. Is that sick or what? So, hmm.. lol.. I actually have no answer for ya, cuz I don't want you to keel it, and maybe your neighbors couldn't care LESS! It's probly not botherin them. BUMMER! maybe you should ask YA. They gotta lotta smart people there.

The source of the problem is not the rooster. The source of the chaffing is the ignorance or deliberate ill intentions of the owner of the rooster. Now you know what to do.

tell your neighbors to keep the chicken up..and restrain him..because its annoying you and you need to get some sleep and not be bothered with pestering crowing noises..if it doesn't help call the police for noise problem..or you could shoot it..and have some KFC..

Put out some arsenic laced corn. End of problem. Or make a chicken stew with him as the main ingredient

Tell your neighbors about the problem, if they do not do anything then place a complaint with the police.

My father used to raise chickens, the best thing to do is get a bb gun and shoot AT it, maybe hit the ground, something to spook it back home....
