I’ve already asked a question like this, it was which is stronger, adamantium or Uru. Uru, the metal that Thor’s hammer Mjolnir is made out of, is magical. While adamantium is very strong and though, it is not magical, just natural. So, magic beats non-supernatural things any time. Thor wins. Not because I like Thor better, but just because he has magical powers which Wolverine does not have.

Who would win Wolverine or Thor?

Thor. He could hit Wolverine with a few lightning bolts to put him down, then chop him into little pieces and scatter them. Wolverine would possibly regenerate, but it'd take a long time, and then Thor could just do it again.

all ironman would have to do is make a suit out of Adiatium and then he would be invincible. He already is the strongest character when you think about it. Hulk can lift weights and wolverine can sharpen his claws but ironman keeps coming up with more powerful suits. The only reason why they don't make it like that in the comics is because who wants to see some guy sit there and not get hurt. as for thor, there is no way for him to make his hammer stronger. also, saying that wolverine would just shread ironman's armour is bull. ironman can FLY. wolverine cant touch him.

Yeah, Thor would crush. Wolverine has no chance. This is a silly matchup quite frankly. Thor would win based off of just his "just strong"-ness, which allows him to lift upwards of 100 tons. Add in a powerful magical hammer, the ability to control lightning, and quite a bit more, and Wolverine is fried, pulverized, and is whupped.

Woah...woah...woah. Thor is not just strong. Thor is a GOD. Literally. A GOD. When he goes mad, he's a threat to the universe and beats up the Silver Surfer, along with some of the most powerful mages in the universe. When Wolverine goes mad...well he's always been half crazy. Even on his best day he can't take on the Silver Surfer and the Power Cosmic. Plus, the gods are nigh immortal. Hard to beat 'em.

Thor, well because he's strong....really strong being a thunder god.Granted Wolverine has adamantium bones and fast-healing factor but what if Thor will smash him to bits?Besides Wolvie isn't even immune to old age meaning adamantium bones aren't that good if you're still man-flesh.

Thor isn't just strong, he's a god! Wolverine used to be cool, but the way Marvel's putting him into every other book, he's now overated.
