it would be near the condoms, if they carry it.

Walmart didn't even used to carry condoms. The uber religious/conservative slant of their management and southern mentality (eg simple) didn't concede that carrying condoms was a responsible thing to do until a few years ago. They probably have a similar hangup about spermicides.

You know they even posted a modified version of the NYTimes bestseller list to exclude Howard Stern's books so they wouldn't have to carry them in their "Best Sellers" section.
So don't be surprised if they don't have a full selection of contraceptive aids.

Hit the local drugstore (CVS, Eckerd, Walgreens).

Cost varies. A box of spermicidal suppositories (brand name Encare) runs about 10 bucks here.

And let me do the responsible thing and tell you that:
1) It won't protect against STD, including HIV/AIDS and
2) Is best if NOT used alone. Use it with condoms.

Look for them in a smaller drug store like Walgreens, Osco, or CVS depending upon where you live as they are easier to locate. If you can't find them at these places the pharmacists can help you. Generally you can expect to pay 10 to 20 dollars depending on quantity and type. You will have to experiment to find which you are most comfortable inserting, but they all seem to work (prevent pregnancy) equally from my experience with my girlfriend.

If they weren't located near the condoms, try looking where the yeast infection medications are located. A drug store would carry them, and please don't feel too embarrassed to ask a pharmacy employee for assistance in finding these products. Believe me, they've heard every question at least 10 times, and they are people too.

Look in the "feminine hygiene" area. Should be with the tampons, pads and Vagisil.

Most condoms also contain spermicide. Check the package. But it's fine if you want to use extra.

You can usually find them in the womens Hygiene section and they are not cheap. They are anywhere from $20 + to $ 10.

Walmart carries them in the family planning/feminine hygeine/pad isle. Right along side the condoms, monistat, ky jelly, preg.tests, etc.

They should be near the condoms or feminine hygiene products.

In general, you should find them right on the same rack as the condoms. If they're not there...

Suck it up and simply ask the pharmacist.
