About 6 years ago I planted a Bush in my yard, with relatively high hopes for it. But since about 2003, it has gone out of control!
It has become an embarassment to the neighborhood, it's uglyness, it's exhasuted flower buds, etc. I don't spend time in my yard anymore, because i don't wan't to be seen anywhere near it!
please help! what do i do???

Yes, this happened to me also.
The solution is simple.
You need to cover up the bush by planting a series of Peach trees around it.
This process is more commonly referred to as "im-peachment"
When that has been completed, the bush should not bother you anymore, and you can enjoy your garden in peace.

Well it's ashame that you are so embarresed by something that you helped create. Perhaps you should pay a little more attention to your Bush and maybe you will realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what the rest of the neighborhood has to say shouldn't matter.. If you abandon something that could be wonderful, then you are to blame not the Bush.. I'm sure your neighbors have their own problems that they should address...
Maybe next time you should try and nurture your shrubs.. Or your out of control ugly Bush could become something worse like a useless weed...

First make sure it's not the burning Bush God sent to relay a message. If it's not trim it's branches and take them to the yard waste site.If that fails pull it up by the roots and let it rot in the compost pile.

Bushes are not supposed to behave this way. I suggest you send it to the Hague for questioning and evaluation. I hear that bushes are very fond of torture. So maybe the Inquisitors at the Hague can get to the "root" of this bush's problem. They should be able to "render" it harmless in the future. Good luck!

Rip it out by the roots, dispose of it in a politically safe manner, poison the soil it was in, and put up warning signs for future generations.

It will die on January 20, 2009, meanwhile just keep it pruned so it doesn't run amok.
