It depends on the type of person your fiance is because she should be of course one of the main people to want to help you because of course you are getting a divorce which is something she should be ready to get over with so that you and her can move on. But if you are having second thoughts then you could try saying without saying it and if that doesn't work considering other people who you know will willingly help you.

NO you better not! SHe'll have that to hold over your head in the first arguement that comes after the check is cashed!! You have her there to help you maintain life now so just slowly work on cleaning up the past debt. It may take time, but youll feel much better if you handle it yourself!

Not really per se. You want it to be his/her idea or he/she will think youre only marrying them for thir money and thats not a good thing. Just tell your fiance that youre bothered by the debt and that you just dont know what to do and that you hate bringing it up but you want to be totally honest before getting married. And appear worried to death and then see what happens. Good luck

Your fiance?
Wait until you're married, your fiance will probably consider it their debt too, at that point.
I wouldn't ask though.

Nope, co-dependency is a bad habit to start before you're even married.

No way. A guy borrowed money from me once, I lost all respect for him. Pay your own way.
