It started off in California. Some kids in high school would go meet up at 4:20 to smoke and surf a little. Eventually it caught on as more than a time, but a date too. Coincidentally, you're also celebrating Hitler's birthday without even knowing it.

obviously you've been smoking too much weed- 4/20 isn't "April fourth", its "April Twentieth" and hitler was born on 4/20 and he created weed.
