Well, I've been travelling this road for 62 years! It has held a lot of ups and downs and crazy turns, and I would like to think that I have covered a lot more of its distance than 62 years of travel time would normally be expected produce.

When I was young, I had the thought that I would only make it as far as 49. Then, when I passed that mark, I thought 59 would be it.
My mother was gone when she was 60, so when I hit 61, it was really a major milestone for me. I guess the next to aim for is 63 - that will put me past my late husband's last age, and 66 will carry me beyond my father's ending mark.
My longest living relative - that I know about, anyway - was my maternal grandmother, and I'll have to surpass 93 to get ahead of her record.

It is in my spiritual beliefs that we write a basic script for our lives before we first step onto the stage (get ourselves born into that little baby body) and begin to act it out. That script will have the ending already written into it - just as is every significantly important event in our lives - but ANY script is subject to spontaneous re-writes along the way if circumstances warrant it.

As far as I am meant to be I reckon.

And this is a great place for me to be.

I have been a very wealthy woman in the past and have been very poor of spirit.

I have had love affairs, nameless liaisons and tragic relationships but only now do I know what 'being in love' is like.

I have had hundreds of friends and been very very lonely.

But right here, right now - THIS is the best time of my life.

And if has to end now - ITS ALL BEEN GOOD - even the bad stuff was worth it just to get out on the other side!

Where am I on the journey? At the very best bit of all!

I truly hope either you are too or it is your next stop!

Best Wishes

The older I get, the more I learn, but the less I know!!

So I have no idea where I am in my journey, as the end of the line is always beyond reach!

I have lived 45 years beyond the point where I should have, would have died. Before I reach the end of the line I will have watched permitting better, less selfish, actions from my detractors. The better they treat me now the less stacked up hell they are arranging for themselves later. I look upon it impersonally, and when my time comes I'm more than ready.

Good question... I am at least 3/4 of the way through my life statistically speaking and I am struggling with the whole aging process. I don't know what to expect at this point.

71 years in and still travelling. Aiming next for 80, so I can have another cracking party.
Its a great journey so long as you keep the windows clear and the door to your brain open - and try not to get too angry with your fellow travellers, even if some of them are lousy drivers.

I am just 60 and could optimistically expect to live to around 85 as I am in reasonably good health at the moment, apart from a few minor niggles which are to be expected.

I hope I'm under half way, and hoping for another 46. Had my children a tad late in life, so I would love to make it into my late nineties, although I'd be happy with late eighties too.

I've always been a wishful thinker :D

45, and I treat every day as it was the last one. I'm young at heart and very active, just started my own company and hope to be around for a lot longer. Hope I will have grand children one day and have a good time with them
