32 killed plus the killer that is ridiculus. I can't believe that this happened. The only one to blame is the shooter.

the shooter is the only one too blame becasue he shouldn't do something like this for a girl/a grade (according to what i heard) and then kill himself too.... thats sick and wrong...
, but according to students and faculty and stuff, when the shooting 1st occured, they made no notifications to the students, all they did was sent emails to them about it, and to beware, which they didn't recieve untill an hour later. The security and the virginia tech people should've tried harder on spreading the word, not just through an email. they could've like set off an alarm or something, and evacuated the entire campus. What if one of the students didn't open there e-mails that day or recieve it or something? they should've also tried to find the guy and capture him (although, from what i read, for some reason, they didn't know who it was untill he killed everyone and then himself.....) but i believe(and so does fox and stuff) that they didn't try hard enough to protect the students..... becasue if they did send out real signals, messages, alarms, and alert and stuff.... and Evacuated the campus, and acctually tried searching for the guy, then they could've captured him, and then he wouldn't have dont the other shooting.... then less people would've died which would've been alot better. (still sad but better)
but Yes...
God Bless the souls of the dead, the people who lost someone.... and all the victims that went through this horrable nightmare.

No, they are asking pertinent questions and making pointed necessary observations. Campus police dropped the ball. They THOUGHT the first shooting was an "isolated domestic situation". They hadn't apprehended anyone, they "thought", well that thinking got alot of people killed. One reason why they didn't do anymore ie., lockdown, was out of fear of how the school would be viewed by alumni, the public, etc... and how that would effect enrollment, which effects tuition, which effects their paycheck. Schools worry about the crime on campus, reputation as a party school etc... because it gets into their pocket book. They erred on the side of the all mighty $$$$$ instead of safety. Obviously they would have been better off to initiate the lockdown this morning than waiting. They went on the "its probably just an isolated incident no need to stir everyone up" instead of "who did it and where are they, we better lock down until we find them". Also its not like they hadn't had bomb threats and another shooting just this past fall. Get your head out of the sand. As for Fox being a "sitcom", at least Fox didn't host a domestic shooting like CNN did a few weeks ago, in their own lobby. Yes God bless the dead but please God comfort the living, all of the parents and friends. And please heal the bodies, spirits and minds of the survivors.

Some interesting answers here today. Could it be that people expect alot from want to be policemen who are paid 7 bucks a hour and have no real training or experence. The problem at virgina tech really is a lack of God. some 40 plus years ago in this nation they kicked God out of the classrooms as a direct result he can offer protection were he is not welcome. That is why it pays to remember God has made his will know. He offers both curses and blessings you just have to pick the one you want. So it is time now to pray for the Loved ones who will suffer as a result of today events. As far as who to blame. This is my take on it.
Blame the Supreme Court for taking God out of the classroom and preventing God from helping stay off evil.
Blame the parents for not spending time on there knees praying for the protection of there children. Blame the Government and the School for promoting educating he masses of the world, to fatten there own wallets, while allowing people from any nation to come here buy guns and wage war. But remember the educators are not to blame. They just want the money. What are a few lives if you are making millions. Blame the security officers for thinking it was all over. But correct me here if you must but when people are killed the real police are called to the scene and they take over. So the police would be to blame actually. Or would we be at fault for not demanding safe schools and protection. Or maybe we all should have been praying long before this happened.

People always need somebody to blame when they feel out of control or cannot explain something.
It is easy to point the finger at the Tech Police Officers and say they did not do their jobs.
I truly feel they did the best they could. You are talking about a huge campus with students and faculty coming from all over and student and faculty in a ton of different locations. They did all they could to control the first situation and to alert the campus to the situation. We weren't there so we don't know all the ins and outs.
I don't think for one minute that the offices at Tech would put student and faculty lives in danger.

I don't think nobody is to be blame. I think the only person the blame should rest is on the killer. I think he shot people so he would be shot at. Like a sucide attempt but he was afraid to kill himself. If he shoots people likely law enforcement will shoot him down. To me those people are like croward. Afraid to die or live. They take other people and kill them. It is a sad day. It doesn't matter if security wasn't tight. People are crazy. You cannot see it 20/20 hindsight. If you could predict who is going to exploded then everyone will be ok. I am so sad. The parents should have step in if they new there children were lonely. They need to speak up and ask for help for their children and not ingore this crisis we have today. Lonely teenager want to end their lives. They are scared. They need help. Don't blame other. Blame the parents and the people who where close to them and didn't speak out.

i am from england and do not know fox news but my heart goes out to everyone involved. I agree 32 dead! the shooter should not be in the same breath as those poor innocent people. unfortunately in situations like this everyone looks for other sources to blame as the killer is dead.

I'm very sad about this whole situation. Cho was a disturbed person I don't get why he didn't just take his own life why did he have to take a bunch of innocent people with him. I have been watching it all day and its making me sick to my stomach. I let things get to me and this is so hard for me to comprehend. He was insane. I almost wish that he was alive so he could SUFFER like the people he killed and hurt did! God bless those families, and even chos family they have got to be hurting and flipping out just as bad as the others.

This is very sad. Sad that so many had to die. If everyone was armed, the lunatic would have been killed before he could harm another soul. This is what happens when we entrust only the police to carry guns. How good is that when the police aren't around to protect you?
Fox news is a government and big corporation tool for propaganda.

I have blame!!! That blame goes to that sick shooter!!! No one else. People need to get real. If Fox, CNN, MSNBC or the rest could see this coming they should have told someone! Because the fact is; this was the largest single act of killing in US history. Wow, they should have seen that coming??? Give me a break!!!
