That would depend on how big are the pictures!

Even at 1 MB each, you should hold 2000 of them. Most JPEGs are much smaller though.

A standard 1024x768 Jpeg is roughly 100K so thats probably the biggest size of picture your gonna get, so your looking at 20,000
