Not drafted, as a matter of decency, not drafted, they should be able to volunteer, but not drafted.

If there is a draft, then yes, women should be just as likely to be drafted as men. Equal rights mean equal rights.

No. absolutely not. Some one needs to be at home for the children! If they draft both men and women who will take care of the kids?

No, but women shouldn't be allowed to join either. Whether women like it or not, on the whole they are not as physically capable as men to do the demanding tasks of war.

There are also studies that show men are more likely to save women on a field of battle before their fellow brothers, regardless of the tactical error of the move. It's generally a man's instinct to come to the aid of a woman. This unnecessarily endangers a lot of lives.

I'm sure this will not be the most popular post of the day, but my husband is a Marine and I was one, and I know more female Marines who agree with me than males...

Absolutely, but you can't put a whole group of women together with no men working with them. Have you ever worked day to day with all women? They are ready to kill each other after 1 week due to cattiness and rumor spreading. I supervised all women at one point in my military career, and let me say, what a nightmare!! Even my wife agrees with me. She will only work with a mix of guys and girls.

I will probably get stoned for this but even if they actually implement such a policy the amount of deferments would be so high because of school, pregnancy, physical or mental impairment and children that it would have the same impact as doing it voluntarily for them.

Of course they need someone to wash the clothes and clean.......JUST KIDDING, women should be held to the same standards as men. Women, can nag the enemy to death, and give them the look of death, and women never forget anything. They are perfect for military service.

Equality means just that, equal..Equal rights means equal responsibilities, and if the current administration continues it's insane pursuits, it may just happen. I hope not, but we are running short of gun fodder recruits, so who knows? Best wishes
