when i was 5 1/2 months pregnant i went to an AFI concert hehe... she deffinately could hear the music, but i got the ok from my doctor, so you should prolly ask your doctor, if the party is before your next appointment, call and ask to speak with your doctor or a NP

don't drink or smoke. u having a good time. very good for the baby. don't stop your life, the babe's going to be part of it. Just make sure it's a healthy happy life.x

Read that the baby can hear through the womb and what ever music it's used too will comfort it when it's out and stressed.x

Good luck.xx

No, going to a party with loud music can't hurt your unborn child. Though I would try to keep away from any second hand smoke.

Well, personally I would avoid it. Those sensitive little bones in the inner ear aren't fully developed until the baby is at least five months along, and I'd worry that the heavy vibration from loud, loud bass would hurt the development of those bones. But that's just me, and maybe I'm a little more paranoid. *shrug*

Probably ok. The amniotic fluid in your womb would probably dampen the noise. But, babies do react to loud noises in the womb. I remember when I was around 8 months pregnant and I dropped a bottle of shampoo in the shower and my baby jumped in my belly!

My opinion would be No!. When my sons mother was carrying him we used to listen to music all the time. All different kinds. I used to burp him in time with whatever music was playing and now at 16 he is a drummer, go figure.

No, when I was pregnant with my son, I always had the urge to play the music in my car as loud as I could handle it. My son is now 3 and he tells me to turn it up, lmao!

no i dont think it would hurt the baby, but i would just be incredibly careful of your surroundings, considering people are so crazy these days, you wouldnt want anyone to slip anything into your drink, or god forbid a fight break out and you be right there. technically i would say no just be very safe. :)

it could be bad on some levels but if your not drinking or doing drugs to hurt the baby then definantly keep it that way.
