As you KNOW: There Aint No Easy-Quickie Answer for that query... Lands End, Layne Bryant, Romans are web-order souces.
Try researching on the net - Get s'body to actually do a real set of measurements too: That eliminates a lot of suff right off...
Then search the web some more, and then; SHOP, Shop, shop, retail - Nothing like an actual try-on session. And, be sure to ask for fit / look advise from some dis-interested parties / people!!!
I remember going to the water-park here in Lost Wages, NV; and thinking "Gee swEEty, did anyone besides yourself and the on-commision sales staff, see you in that suit before?" Some women look FaB-U-Lous, in a OnePiece! GooD LucK! (My favorite has always been the Jantzen OnePiece)

I really love the bathing suits from Newport News.com. You can find some on sale for $9.99 that are just as good as what suckers will spend $79.00 for at department stores.
I have bought bathing suits from NewportNews for years because I use a pool and hottub at the gym on a year round basis, and the chlorine bleaches them in a matter of 6 months, so I refuse to pay ridiulous prices for something so small and insignificant

Old Navy has some really cute ones. I got a balck halter onepiece there and its realyl cute, i believe that had it in a couple of other colors as well. My friend got one at Target, H&M had a couple, if you go to Ross or Marshells, they usually have some really cute suits for pretty cheap prices! Good luck!

it is sad these days that there is a narrow choice for bathing suits that you are looking for. But some can still be found.
If you are going with price:
-Walmart
-Target
-K-mart
If you are going with style:
-Gap
-Old Navy
-JC Penny
Both catagories contain relatively cheap prices, but i dont find walmart or anything in that group to be attractive to the eye.

If you are on a budget I would try target. They have cute swimwear. Gap Body also has nice swimwear and the prices are reasonable. You might want to try a two piece but one that looks like a one piece, like a tankini top because they are more stylish.

Go to swimco, they are very patient and helpful, and will find the most flattering suit for you! There are stores in most large malls in Calgary. You could also try at addition-elle, you'll love the store - most items will be too big for you! Good luck!

True any store carries bathing suits, one piece or two. You can try WalMart, Kmart, or if you are worried about your big butt as you put it, a specialty store has sizes for different parts that aren't what they use to be. Try a place like Lane Bryant or Blair online.

If I were you, I'd go to Kohls if there's one near you, or someplace similar. Don't go to Wal Mart a place like that, they won't last but maybe a year. I have suits from Kohls from like three and four years ago. My tankini is blue, but i need new one too; sun bleached out its color =(

if you have a big butt, you should for sure get a speedo and nothing else. make sure you get the ones that are for competition swimmers and not the old lady style ones. my favorite place to get one-pieces is sun & snow. but, if you're looking for cheap, go to the speedo store online (speedo.com) and either see what's on sale, or you can order something called a 'grab-bag' suit. basically, they pick the color for you, but you don't have to pay as much.
