I've heard of the group, never heard the song, wasn't impressed.
Then again I was always convinced the music died in 75, except for the Ramones.

My daughter used to be into both N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys. But she got tired of hearing me tease her about them. I used to call them the Backdoor Boys instead. And since one of them was gay, I told my daughter that's what that song meant. That he liked it that way.

I have it from high placed sources inside of the BB group that they were referring to their hairstyle. The dude who wrote for them just happened to be in the salon at the time.
They sounded so passionate about it that he though it would make a good hook in a song.

I used to LOVE that song! what ever happened to boybands? the wern't that bad. okay. they were. but still, now seven year olds listne to rap music and stuff. what is happening to the world today. why can't we listen to the backstreet boys and nsync and we could all be happy?
