Braxton-Hicks contractions! They do not really hurt, but do get rather uncomfortable. Your body is just preparing for labor. I am 36 weeks, I have been having them for atleast 3 months. Kind of annoying. This is my first baby, so I asked a friend who already had a baby and she said she never felt those. I guess every pregnancy is different.

yea its braxton hicks contractions. They just prepare your body for the actual real contractions. Which you will notice LOL when its time :) If they become stronger or closer together, then you know they are real contractions :) goodluck and congrats on baby two!!!

I have that going on right now. I am 36 weeks and its braxton hicks contractions. Mine are slightly painful. These are good because they should help both of us dilate faster and more before full labor begins. Less painful contractions later! Yeah! Congrats and good luck.

Yes, these are called Braxton-Hicks contractions and they are "practice" for the uterus to begin labor. These can start early, and do not mean you are ready to deliver, however you should let your doctor know since you are beginning to dilate.

It's called "Braxton Hicks" contractions. It's basically your body's way of practicing and preparing you for labor.

these are called braxton-hicks contractions, they are just mostly painless "practice" contractions that help get things ready for the real thing. Congratulations on the pending birth of your child :)
