it's because your angry at something, you probably don't know what your mad about, all you know is you FEEL depressed, and sometimes anger is making you feel depressed, this happens to people who are told from there parents that they have a right to there own emotions, or are too controlling.
but when you get the anger out, then you feel so much better. That is all it is. Don't hold in your emotions, it's OK to be moody once in a while.

Hey punk it's a life thing. Yes I have felt that way when I was a teenager and now that I am middle age. It's all about living life. Mood swings. Funny thing is now everyone needs to take medication to cure this life problem. I believe it's been around since the beginning of time. Just now the pill makers and doctor's need to make millions of dollars with it.

Could be a temporary imbalance of the hormones, could be seasonal affective disorder, could be your subconcsious trying to warn you about something, or it could be your body reacting to a series of stimuli that led to less than satisfactory reults in the past. Pay attention to your feelings, but don't let them run your life. Your car may have a proximity sensor, but you may still be in much more immediate danger from the Red Light that you just ran. Feelings are just your body's way of telling you to pay attention and be alert. That's always good advice, so thank your body for the head's up and drive on! - With both eyes open of course.

It's normal. It may feel like the mood changes just come over you, but nearly always there is some event, even a very small thing, that triggers it. Keep a mood journal and you will see that your moods are usually you reacting to something external.

I think it happens to most of us....the ebb and tide of depression. I am feeling terrible right now, but was on top of the world this morning.....hell, even a typo mad me cry a few minutes ago.....just go with the flow, you'll come out on the other end.

I walked a mile with Sorrow
And ne’er a word said she;
But, oh, the things I learned from her
When Sorrow walked with me.

i noticed that one big factor in this feelings is self acceptance and confidence, read about those two.

besides, hormones have a pretty big role in this, and sometimes just because you're tired.
