Not many modern buildings seem to have any balance or beauty.
why is there no beauty anymore?
people have lost the art of it and can only create functional things?

I live in England there are many lovely old buildings here, but what legacy will we leave to the future with our ugly culture?

That is what people are paying for. Beauty has been schooled or breed out of them.

Thats because America was built in the last 200 years. All ultra-modern.
When you go to Europe you see old classical buildings everywhere.
In Asia you see beautiful traditional buildings. (I especially love Southeast Asian architecture.)
