Yes, it happened to me in high school. He hit me so hard I flew across the room and hit a wall.
When my brother found out......I'm sure he wished he'd never been born. He had the pulp beat out of him.
Since that time I have always told any man I go out with, that if they ever raise their hand to me, they will never see me again.
I make this pronouncement on the first date. It's amazing how many 2nd dates I don't have.

Personal, yes. Answer: yes. It resulted in a broken wrist. It wasn't that long ago. By the way, I hit him back. Didn't help the situation, but it made me feel better.

Well... this is personal but since nobody really knows me, here goes... Yes, my ex used to hit me, he smashed a glass bowl on me once and then threw me on the pieces, kicked me, which hurt worse than hands. I'm free from that, thankfully!

In Junior High, this boy use to bully on me, he was a total dork. We were in wood shop class together, he came and hit me with a big piece of wood, I had enough of him so i put him in a choke hold and put his head on a vice grip. Needless to say I was suspended. But it felt so good. He never bothered me again.

No.. but I think that it is disrespectful for anybody to hit anyone (when they are serious) because it just shows how low their self worth and their views on other people are.
