He killed himself and then took the chicken-**** way out after taking the lives of all those innocent people - so in the meantime since he did himself in he certainly saved all our tax dollars to send him to trial, prison and the death pental, another scumbag, no good off our streets but there's more where he left off and that's the sad part of it.
And yes Angelique1225, I certainly agree with you, there was nothing like that when we were younger, gangs, shooting, etc., this world, as your mother used to say *wink* "is going to hell in a handbasket!"

Either way, he was going to die. Getting sentenced to death would have been the pleasant way out. Some people stay on death row for years & years. That's ridiculous. And he deserved to suffer in pain.

I'm glad they got him before he could have killed more people. Putting him on trial would have been a waste of time because he'd have gotten the death penalty; or worse, thrown into a psychiatric prison. He got his justice today; best to leave it at that.

i'm a replace instructor in a extensive metropolitan college district; and, no, i don't sense risk-free. Any day, there is the possibility that i will admonish a student for beside the point habit, failure to attend to their task, confiscating their cellular telephone, activity boy, or different digital device no longer allowed interior the college room. the potential of that student having a weapon, and turning on me, is often present. there are various weapons different than weapons that a student would desire to apply. A pencil or pen, thrust right into a guy or woman's eye, ear, abdomen, neck would desire to be deadly. I sympathize with every physique who has emotional issues; yet, i won't condone the strikes of that guy or woman while he/she chooses to take the existence of yet another. If the comments of the media and the testimony of faculty officers and acquaintances would be believed, there have been people who suspected Cho Seung-Hui substitute into no longer your "consumer-friendly, general" guy or woman. regrettably, confidentiality, and the phobia of regulation fits, diminishes and precludes college counselors, instructors, and directors from contacting every physique approximately their concerns. in simple terms "throw up your palms", and say "this is in simple terms the way of society on the instant". If i substitute right into a determine, sister, brother, grandparent, or the different relative of one of those pupils who have been "gunned down", i could be in seek of criminal suggestion and attempting to record a "wrongful death" fit against Virginia Tech, counselors, instructors, and every physique else who substitute into attentive to Cho's weird and wonderful writings and behaviour. i might additionally carry to account campus protection and the community police branch for assuming the 1st capturing substitute right into a "significant different and young ones incident", and could no longer be a precursor to a psychotic episode maximum advantageous to different killings.

under our legal system, he should have went to trial, then be sentanced to death. But, that doesn't matter now since he took his own life. Either way, he deserved to die for his actions.

I totally agree with icunurse. Why spend our tax dollars on supporting him for another 10 or maybe even 20 years. He got what he deserved!

I thought he killed himself....but yes, for what good it will do for
all the families who lost someone today, he should have stood
trial and be held accountable for what he did....and one day he
will give account before God, if not here on earth, and he won't
be able to get out of THAT by killing himself, if that is what he did.... It's like hitler taking the easy way out at the end of WW2
by shooting himself...Not that he could ever mitigate what he did....but he should have been made to answer for what he'd done.....and the same with the Columbine tragedy.... .the 8 yr. anniversery is this Friday....=(
May Almighty God be with and comfort ALL of those who have been most affected by this latest of incomprehensible tragedies that was deliberately perpetrated by another human
being upon innocent people....These sociopaths who get their
hands on guns...because they've never done anything before, so they're allowed to own them...and they stay under the radar
and nobody realizes that they are a ticking time bomb until it's
too late and more innocent people are slaughtered w/out ANY
reason known to man!! It's INSANE!!!! >:(
I just read some of the previous answers....and they were ALL
really good.....I know what Bill O'Reilly means when he says he
opposes the death penalty...and while I'm not opposed to it, I can definitely see how it's TOO EASY and TOO QUICK, like in the case of Timothy McVeigh...OKC bombing...another sick
sociopath...Why did he have to take out all of these innocent people who had NOTHING to do with his political grievances, whatever they were. Lethal injection is too easy....as comp-ared to the electric chair or the gas chamber, but absolute life
in solitary....NO PAROLE....and like Bill says...HARD LABOR!
No gym...no cable...NOTHING.....Just HARD TIME...and let them THINK about the pain they have caused and the INNOC-ENT LIVES of those people who were NOT ready or meant to
leave this world yet.....and then there are the perverts who go after kids and then murder them and just dump their bodies as
if they are nothing more than so much garbage for the animals
to pick at....and they just go on with their lives as if they'd done
nothing wrong......
For those who are Baby Boomers and older...THINK BACK and tell me....WHEN DID ANY OF THIS KIND OF GARBAGE
HAPPEN BEFORE NOVEMBER OF 1963!!!! I was born in 1950 myself...and EVERYTHING about this country and way
of life was sooo completely DIFFERENT...and I truly believe with all of my heart that something changed after President Kennedy was assasinated that day in Dallas..There has been
MORE violence and total DISRESPECT for human life EVER
SINCE!! It is not just BABY BOOMER NOSTALGIA.
IT'S TRUE....Something happened...It's like this country as a whole lost her soul on that day, just as man died spiritually at the fall - genesis 3 - America has also died....and when was prayer taken out of school because of that atheist woman....It
was in 1962....and it surely didn't take long for violence to start
permeating our society and total depravity and decadence to
take over....It's NOT "right-wing Religion" talking.
-- LOOK AROUND!! IT IS A L L THERE FOR ANYONE TO SEE!!!! LOOK AT WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THIS COUN-TRY IN THE PAST 43 YEARS+ SINCE NOV.22, 1963...AND
WHAT HAPPENED TODAY IS THE LATEST CASUALITY AND TRAGEDY OF THE DAY THAT AMERICA LOST HER INNOCENCE AND GAVE HERSELF OVER TO THE ATH-EISTIC, SECULAR FORCES IN OUR SOCIETY THAT WANT
NO MENTION OF GOD OR NO REMINDER OF HIS DIVINE
SOVEREIGNTY OVER THE UNIVERSE, WHICH IS TRUE, WHETHER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT!!!!
