I'm 19 & still a virgin. I'm wondering if it hurts &/or bleeds?

Depends. If you're an active girl then your hymen could have broken when you were younger. However, if ur hymen is still in tact, then it will bleed during intercourse and there willb e pain.

I was a 19 year old virgin as well.
My first time didn't hurt but I think my hymen broke when I was younger due to bike riding and such.
Some people bleed their first time and for others, sex is painless.
What hurts more than physical pain is emotional, so make sure you're ready before you lose your virginity because it's one of those decisions you can't take back.

It can hurt and most likely will, not intense pain but more uncomfortable. The important thing is if it does hurt and you want to stop tell him!! I did bleed and alot of women do but some don't so depends. Hope this helps, x

for some YES for others NO.
it didn't hurt for me but it did for my friend.
my best guess is that you have to be lubed up enough....and hmm well I'd played around with myself before so maybe that helped. or maybe it was all that horse back riding I did as a kid that broke my hymen...hmm anywho.
good luck hope it doesn't hurt bad....my friend said the pain went away pretty quick though - but she did bleed...aaah I'm so happy I didn't.

It can do both. I married at 17 and one half. And it did for me.
A person shouldn't have a sexual relationship before they are ready to accept the possibility of disease and pregnancy.
In time it is a wonderful relationship with someone you love.
It is NOT a casual sport as men think it is. Do not be pressured into sex before your are ready. That time will come, do not rush it.

If the guy has good knowledge no. Be with someone loving who likes to give lots of foreplay and will take it very easy you will be able to enjoy it. I'm a male and I sure try to just make her feel real good and have an orgasm.

some times its a little prick and some times it bleeds unless youve broke some thing while physical active in sports or got stretched on some thing , its different for all, no two bodies are the same

i was 15 when i lost mine and it hurt a little bit, but it wasn't like a really bad hurt. i bled too, not too much it didn't make a huge mess or anything.
my best explanation for the pain would be like if you have a big poop coming out, it hurts at that time, but after words it doesn't hurt as much. my boyfriend at the time said it hurt him too, only cause i was a virgin too and it was really tight.
first time hurts a little but remember this, be careful when you do it, or birth will hurt ALOT more.

well dear, if your tense and your muscles arent relaxed and your not lubed up enough,it probably can hurt and you probably will bleed a little,when your hymen breaks.
