Try the simple things first. A bike that doesn't perform is probably missing either fuel, air, or spark, so...
Clean or replace the Air filter,
Replace or regap the spark plugs,
Replace the fuel filter, if it has one.
Sync the carbs, if there are any.
You might also try putting some cleaning additive in the fuel to help clean the carbs.
Best of luck!...

Best to get it looked at by a pro but don't say "just do what ever it needs" because that's a blank cheque for a dealer. Have you considered that you may just be getting used to the power it has ? it may just need a service and carbs balanced. Depends on the dealer for the cost but make sure they don't do anything without clearing it with you first.

You might try gas additive first. I pour about a quarter of the little STP gas additive bottle into my tank when I fill up (but then my tank is only two gallons). This sometimes helps poor performance. The other time I was having poor perforformance, it was a clogged air filter.

May just need a full service or tune up.
Have a good mechanic look at it.
UK weather lovely for bikers at the moment!

sounds like your clutch could be gettin worn. check your chain tension, a loose rear chain can rob a bike of power. when you let the clutch out the R.P.M'S should drop some before picking up again if the engine stays relitively steady as you let the clutch out it means the clutch plates are slipping. chech your owner's manual for "adjusting the clutch" It's a fairly simple procedure. good luck

could be that your bike is burning to much fuel or not enough theres a screw on the side of the carb tighten it and take it for a whirl if its worse then loosen the screw if the problem persists take it to the garage

I reckon it would be more economical to trade in for another ride. Fixing bikes aint cheap. Go on, treat yourself!!!

It wouldn't hurt to give it a tune up and see what happens, but if you want the new performance back, you'll have to take the head off and redo it.

It might need something as simple as a valve adjustment.
