Has anyone noticed the negativity that is spreading like wild fire!
The shootings in the virginia college
These floodings all over New Jersey and the death tolls associated with them all.

It seems if you add up every event, to date from just 10 years ago, you would have an interesting case for Gods Wrath, through natural disasters according to religious doctrine.....

And it doesn't matter what religion you adhere to, whats your opinion of this?

God doesn't really have a 'wrath'. He gave man free will, and with it, came responsibility to accept the consequences of our actions. The shootings in the Virginia college were because of a 'disturbed man', not because God decided to get back at the world and see how many people he could kill. God will have become angry at what has happened, as no one should take away what is priceless - the lives of the students. They show us what evil is in the world.

The floodings in New Jersey just tell us that our world is in serious danger, and, although it would be wrong to speculate, I might go as far as saying that it is due to man that these floodings occured (e.g. polar ice-caps melting, global warming raising the sea level.)

I hate to sound all 'end-of-the-world' but it was prophesied that God would become very angry with the world, and it would end with a series of natural disasters. When watching the news, much of it is occupied by several natural disasters which are taking place, consecutively. From a Christian's point of view, this is God warning us.

Sorry - I know this sounds terribly cynical!

Beware of the false prophet.

People have predicted things like this for centuries. If this was all God was capable of, we could do what we want. So no, I don't believe this is God's Wrath. WWII was much more severe as were any wars prior or since. When something like the Indonesian tsunami in December 1996 happens world wide, then I think we're getting close.

Violence is replaced into and consistently will connect human nature. to assert that God needed a guy to take a gun and kill innocuous human beings is as outrageous because it really is gloomy. The Floodings are because of the a Nor'easter, a person-pleasant Atlantic hurricane that takes position as we talk of year. so as that's 2 issues. you imagine that those 2 issues upload as a lot as God's Wrath? incorrect, incorrect, incorrect...

natural disasters are natures way of saying, we need some action, but only when the weather calls for it. Since the weather is totally messed up by global warming, we have more to worry about. As for the shootings, people decide that, not god. I for one don't believe in god. It is the wrath of our own doing thats making, or encouraging this stuff to happen. God isn't a human figure anyways, we make it sound like "IT" controls us, when we have been in charge of ourselves since the dawn of humans.

I bet if god was considered a ball of light, didn't create man, and didn't make Jesus, we wouldn't view God as the all powerful

God doesn't control people, some are just crazy and don't think of the consequences before they act. As for these floods, hurricanes, etc... I think it's earth's way of reacting to what we have done to it and maybe even it's way of balancing life. For example, the population is increasing greatly, and these "natural disasters" unfortunately kill off a lot of people sometimes.

Firstly, of course, you have to show that there is a god to be wrathful. After that, it should be plain sailing.
