Insane? That's the standard excuse murderers use to get a lighter sentence, though the mass killer types often commit suicide, and some have to be taken down by police.
A cop killer in Kirkwood MO recently hung a jury by saying he "was in a trance" while walking up to a police officer seated in his patrol car and shooting him six times. The officer drove away and crashed into a tree a block away, and the perp walked to the car and shot the officer in the head to finish him off. A trance? He will be re-tried and should at least do life without parole. He probably has beat the death penalty.

Unfortunately the people who "speak" for liberals are morons. You can't just an entire group by looking at the people who "claim" to represent it.
As a liberal, I'm still horrified and heartbroken by what took place today. Moreover I would never turn it political or support anyone who did.

Why are you making up stuff about liberals & contributing to
keeping this country divided? This is a perfect example
of terrorism.
Either that, or you don't have a brain cell in your body.
Try showing some respect for those who experienced this
tragedy & keep your own politics out of it.

Liberals use anything they can to bash the government. Same as with the attorney firings, Katrina, immigration, and 9-11. Whatevr the event is, Liberals use it as a platform to justify their claim that Bush is to blame for everything. No comparisons have ever been made of Somalia and Clinton, Waco and Clinton, Iranian hostages and Carter and so on.
And for the decency aspect, Liberals have none. Never have and never will.

I have seen nobody use this to bash Pres. Bush. Just a whole lot of paranoid people treating the victims as numbers to further their own agendas.

Who is that creepy senator from Virginia who beat George Allen in the last election? You know the red headed guy that used to work for the Dept of the Navy. Jim something??? I'm blaming him.....its all his fault. He's a Dem, that's another reason. Of course all the dems are going to come out blaming G.W. Bush for this one. One way or another it will be his fault in the end. Dems have a way of twisting things around like that.

I dont really think thats what this is at all. Actually what is happening is all of the leadership on both sides and internationally are finding that there is a new element in this world that must be satiated.

Where did the billions of dollars for homeland security go? I think these major universities deserved more funding instead of small town petting zoos and rural areas.

I am a liberal and I haven't done this. I wish you would correctly ask "why are some liberals" doing this. You could also add why are some conservatives trying to score political points from this. Both sides are doing this and I find it absolutely disgusting that anyone, and I mean anyone would use the violent tragic deaths of over 30 people for political fodder.

Because it's what they do. I'm sure they've put the blame on Bush for this somehow. They always miss the forest for the trees!!
