Supreme Court- which is what made it controversial. He lost the popular vote, and while the Republican controlled House of Representatives would likely have selected him anyway, without their participation all semblance of democratic process was lost because the Supreme Court is an appointed body.

The Electoral college, because it fairly is oftentimes determined. in basic terms because of the truth the ineffective and questionable Democrat voters were disenfranchised through the U. S. most suitable courtroom docket (7-2) does no longer recommend it change into determined any in yet in any diverse case than Presidential elections are often determined. Why do you ask? Are you notwithstanding sore about it because of the truth Algore wasn't waiting to scouse borrow the 2000 election from George W. Bush like John F. Kennedy stole the 1960 election from Richard M. Nixon?

None of the above. If this is a question for a class, your teacher is probably looking for "the supreme court". They did NOT decide the election. All the court did was order the Florida board of elections to stop endless recounts that violated Florida law. Media outlets later recounted under more than a dozen standards and George W Bush WON under ALL of them.

A toss-up between the Supreme Court and W's bro, Jeb who, as Governor of Florida, managed to manipulate that critical state's election results. Certainly NOT the popular vote.
