WOW! I was beginning to think that I was the only one who thought that. It's nice to know that I am not alone. Although stupid might not be a strong enough description.

It is. Reality TV is a complete waste of time. There's a lot of people out there who love though and that's why it exists. I don't watch Reality TV because I don't like it. My life is too real - in fact, I could use a whole lot more fantasy if you get me! Good luck!

Most television is stupid, but I have to say that reality tv takes the cake. For mindless entertainment I'll stick to cartoons!

I do! I can't stand reality tv and I wish they would take them off the air and replace them with some really great comedies or something. But many people like them, so I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.

Where's the reality?
It's all so set up and scripted I don't see it as being
any different from anything else on TV.
I like informative programs, or, variety shows and movies. It' s
a bit frightening to me that there may be folks out there who believe in it being "real" however...

I liked some of the reality shows like Real World, and Survivor because I thought these shows give some insight into human behavior but now it has gotten out of hand with shows like "Tori and Dean Inn Love."

I think that it creates a skewed and bizarre "reality" which seems to take away the need for creativity in entertainment. In fact, it seems to take away the entertainment in entertainment. Television is now allowed to be boring, or incredibly crude, or not make any sense...because it's "real" - because, supposedly, they can't mess around with "reality."
"Reality" television has turned into an excuse to be invasive, cruel and ruthless - crushing people's dreams as a matter of course, "winning" at all costs, in the name of entertainment.
Put me down as one who misses PLOT.

I think that reality tv just lures us to our tvs while it turns our brains to mush. if you think about what do you learn from these programmes, are there any good points? if there are i cant see them. think of all of the good things you could do with the hours we waste watching reality tv. big brother did it for me, why would i want to sit and watch people do the washing up?
