I have a melted fuse, bottom row, middle, and melted wires running up under my dash that appear to go into the column. Any help as to how to handle this or the diagram itself, would be greatly appreciated...

am a bit confused here as the fuse should have protected your wiring. sounds like a bad short, so trace the burnt wires back to where they shorted then replace one wire at a time. back to the fuse panel and fuse the circuit with the mfg. recommended fuse size.
