I'm going on a caravan holiday in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if I will be able to use my laptop for the internet while I am on holiday.

On an organised site there might be wi-fi, or you probably could find a live hot spot, possibly even legal, nearby. Try coffee shops. Otherwise you can use a mobile phone as a modem (EXPENSIVE!) or get a 3g data card for the laptop
