I've recently planted some sage, foxglove and delphinium in my tiny little backyard garden. I've been watering them quite a bit (I live in Texas) and have noticed a ton of pill bugs (aka rolly pollies) around the base of the plants. How do I get rid of them?

First off what's a pill bug? Do you mean a bed bug? They're near impossible to get rid of.

Spray around the plant base with murphy's oil . Try not to hit hte plant . When you do pick your herbs wash them due to murphy's oil is a soap but it will keep the pill bugs and aphids away .

You shouldn't get rid of them. They'll do no harm to your plants and only eat decaying matter. Some bugs are good for your garden. (ie, ladybugs, pill bugs, worms).

I don't think I'd get rid of them. I have them in my garden and have yet to see any evidence that they do anything bad. I think they eat little organisms that could be harmful though.

Like snails or slug removal; put a metal cap filled with beer; this will lure them for drink and die in the cap.

Do not kill these as they are beneficial!!! They are omnivores or scavengers feeding on dead or decaying plants or animals. They are not hurting your plants. They are going through the soil you just turned up.
They are great composters.
