Cedric Benson. He is young - has the entire team to himself with no competition. Thomas Jones and Shawn Alexander have had a lot of touches and are over the half way point in their careers - plus Alexander looked ordinary last season without Hutchinson blocking for him. Jacobs has potential but until he learns to run downhill he will not be a full-time RB. He runs to straight up which allow him to get hit hard and causes fumbles. Rhodes and Bell are RB's that will have competition and play on teams with less than stellar running O-lines. Parker is probably the next best pick - even though he has had a lot of touches and is smaller - he seems to be holding up...but he has a style and build familiar to DeShawn Foster - who after a stellar season has been unable to stay healthy as the focus RB.

First I would ask, how did you got that many good RBs on your team? The rest of your league must have been asleep all season.
Rhodes and Bell are at best sharing the workload, so I wouldn't keep them. Brandon Jacobs is the man now, but my guess is the Giants draft someone else to share the load with him. I like Parker and Jones more than Benson, just because of the QB situations on those teams. However, I still think that Alexander is in the best situation with his line and those players surrounding him. I think he was a little banged up most of last year and he should come back with better numbers than last year. Keep Alexander.

I'd have to keep Alexander. This is will be benson's first as a full time starter, Rhodes is now on a horrible team, Jones now has a horrible line, Bell is now an afterthought, Jacobs has now big play ability. The only question is Parker, and of the two Alexander is the better back and still has a few years left in the tank.

Alexander or Parker. I would take Alexander because the Seahawks have a better front line and qb.
2nd tier: jacobs is the real deal and could be a huge in 2007.
Stay away: Bell and Jones

I would keep Parker and Jones. Try to sucker someone into trading you for Alexander while he still has value. He may have one more good year in him but that should be it. He is approaching that magic "30" years old number where a running backs numbers start to decline.

I would keep Alexander. He already is a proven star, and still has a few years left in his legs.
