As you can see, both sides engaged in callous and thoughtless behavior. Neither side is any better for it. Personally, I find it repulsive that anyone would attempt to use a tragedy such as this to "score" a political point.

extra advantageous to have values and fail to stay as much as them than to no longer have values in any respect ...is what i might say if I have been a liberal. yet i'm no longer. nevertheless, i think of the uncomplicated concept applies. Hypocrisy has no longer something to do with the validity of a given value gadget. this is why I haven't any qualms balloting for hypocrites or cheats for the extra advantageous good. because of the fact are not all of us, on some point? however on an precis point i would not go as much as now as to declare "never bash individuals's religions." actual, a gadget that reflects the spirit of a complete civilization is in all danger previous the purview of my own shallow ethical judgments, yet can no longer we are saying "this guy is a Christian identification-ist" or "this guy is a member of the rustic of Islam" or "this guy is an unreconstructed Stalinist" and draw extremely precise conclusions approximately their character and nature? And, taking that even further, can no longer we, shallow creatures that we are, decide no longer that an all-encompassing gadget is "undesirable," yet that it incredibly is incompatible with the spirit of our society and desires to adapt, go away, or face the (non-discriminatory) criminal outcomes? Like pre-1900s Mormonism or illiberal Islam or pre-Columbian Aztec faith? can no longer we make serious judgments approximately their function in civil society even on the possibility of elevating laptop hackles? Is that immoral?

There are a lot of ways I can respond to this tripe but I'll just repeat what I said earlier today. Anyone, be they on the left or on the right, who tries to use this tragedy to try and score some cheap, meaningless political points is beyond contempt.

Hypocracy is easy. If you latch onto the buzz, the jargon and talking points of party politics, rather than trying to understand it yourself and form your own opinions, it's very easy to end up contradicting yourself.
You see it among the most strident proponents of any party: they're so busy shouting slogans and spin that they have no idea what they're really saying.

Already starting to blame people who had nothing to do with that awful incident in Virginia. Our prayers should be with their families, not here, starting the old blame game and posting all the sites of opinion, when they were not there when it happened, go figure. Besides guns do not kill people, people kill people.

The vast majority of people who post here are morons.
It doesn't matter to what party they belong.
But if you need to feel superior to all libs to help you sleep at night, I don't mind.
Pretend all you want. Denial is a powerful tool.

Hypocrisy: a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not; especially : the false assumption of an appearance of virtue or religion.
Because it is in their nature to be a hypocrite... and especially to throw that "title" at others as a defense against their own hypocrisy.
