My response to this will sound cruel, but if my child quit school(which he wouldn't) I'd kick mom/dad's A S S, for letting him.
18 or no the Best thing you can give your child is an education, and in my house you decide to quit school, you have emancipated yourself. Your grown enough to quit school, grown enough to support yourself, which means that you would be out on your own, and not my respolsibility to support you anymore.
If mom/dad was dumb enough to let him quit, she/he doesn't need your money anymore!!!!

I know that in Texas you have to pay until the child turns 18 or as long as the child is in school, college included. You need to check with your divorce lawyer. On a more personal note, why are parents that have to pay child support always so eager to finish paying? You helped make that child in the first place, why complain about having to take responsibility for it later? Just think of the parent that has the child full time, they never stop paying "child support"!

I am assuming you are referring to paying child support on a kid who lives with their mother and is already 18? I don't know the answer to that but in CA, there are some rules that require the dad's to continue providing this if the child is still in school.
Unfortunately, for an accurate answer you need to contact a lawyer or legal service.

Depends on the age of the child if under 18 then NO and over 18 your obligation for support is finished. Best Wishes and God Bless!

Check with a lawyer.
I would have to guess yes if the child is under 18. Even though the kid may have quit school, you still have to help with his/her clothing and other living expenses. So you cannot get out of supporting your kid so easily.

Supporting a child has nothing to do with them being in school or not. You are responsible until they are 18.

No, a child that drop off of school (HS) is considered legally emancipated and so they don't get child support.
Check with your lawyer
Good luck

Did you in any way have sexual enjoyment in conceiving your child? This is your child we are talking about right? Were you forced to have sex in this situation? If these statements apply why do you have to be forced to do what is right?
You have kids you look after them.
This conversation is ended.
