It's ridiculous, you ask rhetorical questions and when someone presents their point of view ya give them a low rating and never read the answer.
I think you all have sometype of mental illness or are angry, this is usually associated with low self-esteem.
Just look at the questions asked in this forum, "is conservatism caused by dropping a baby on his head?"
Ur all FREAKS!
And im not someone preaching peace and good will toward men, no, this **** is just EXTREMELY annoying.
So is it too much to ask?
Come on, do it for Indio!

All you have to do is ignore the 'rant' questions. In time, they will tire of posting questions that receive no responses. By reading and responding - however intelligently - you are playing right into their hands. Just stop responding, and hope that others do the same. In time, the same old folks will be communicating the crap to eachother...and the rest of us can get on with intelligent dialogue...

You're kind of crass yourself but you do have a point.
I am as guilty as I can be for trashing the conservatives, though I know it's wrong to trash someone for their beliefs I sometimes let my frustrations and/or strong drink get the better of me.
It is important to keep an open mind more often than not, especially when discussing ideas and beliefs. When you just trash the other guy and stoop to personal attacks you are only proving right any prejudices he might have toward you and your opinions and beliefs. We are very fortunate to have so many different kinds of people in the world and I am still waiting for the day when we can all at least be kind to one another and work together with our differences working for us as an asset instead of being used against one another as weapons and I do believe that day will come because I believe that ALL people are basically kind, empathetic and much smarter than they are given credit for, yes, even the conservatives!! Conservatives often have a wonderful sense of humor which they are totally unafraid of turning on themselves as well, it's true! I know several and I'm related to a few more and while we don't agree with one another on many issues there are many more things on which we agree completely. I wouldn't change my conservative buddies and/or relatives a bit, they are good people and I have learned things very worth knowing from them.
Sometimes I write toned-down versions of insults and taunts I use on conservatives I actually know (who laugh at me and call me something worse or express sentiments about my parentage I could get permanently banned from this forum for repeating here.) I am amazed at how serioulsy things are taken here. We are all just folks, let's have a little fun with our differences and our similarities as well now and then!! Lighten up, you ever-lovin' doorknobs!!
I truly relish the gratuitously bizarre people of any political leaning I encounter here and look forward to their stupid questions. I only hope that my occaisional stupid questions and/or answers are enjoyed as much by others here and if I'm not enjoyed then I hope like hell I annoy like no other!

Chill dude! Actually, I reached that conclusion the second day I was posting here.
There is some pertinent political discussion here, but mostly surface crud.
Now I just have fun, and answer serious questions with serious answers when I can.
I would advise the same to you. It's not really a serious forum, it's more like the ultimate reality show. Especially here in politics. It's the political zoo!

yeah you are right for the most part. But sometimes maybe 20% of the time there is a good question asked and some really good answers. But they are rare indeed.

This forum is a joke. Most people - liberals just go here to piss someone off. They sit there in starbucks and type dumb questions that they think are funny. Nothing is being done here. No opinions are being changes because nobody takes the time to read the question and to honestly understand what message/position the poster may be trying to get across. We treat each other like crap on the street, so why should this be any different?

I couldn't agree more. I think people that ask dumb questions do so because they can't think of an intelligent question to ask
Hmmm..... maybe they were all dropped as a baby on their head.

I agree. It sounds just like what we get on TV. Libs and conservatives putting their own special spin on whatever the topic is. Monkey see, Monkey do ...I guess.
